Sept 9 Events

This coming Tuesday is lining up to be an unlikely busy night. 

Just Food’s big event Let Us Eat Local Gala and Awards Ceremony will take place at Water Taxi Beach in Long Island City. There will be 20 of NYC’s top chefs, a sustainable feast, music, and an award ceremony honoring folks like Christine Quinn and one of our favorite farmers, Ted Blomgren.

I’ll be participating at Hazon and Avodah’sChoices at the Check-out Line: Roundtable Discussion and Communal Meal, part 1 of Eating our Values: A Three-Part Series Inspired by the New Jewish Food Movement.

To top it off, Council on the Environment of New York City, the parent organization of Greenmarket, will be having their office party on a boat touring Olafur Eliasson’s waterfalls.
